1962 Austin Healy Sprite MKII

Here is a nice example of this fun and affordable English sports car. Just three owners from new. The first owner was a serviceman who brought this U.S. model in London. Returning to the States, he later sold the Sprite to a friend. The second owner enjoyed the car and eventually started a restoration which included a bare metal repaint in the original Old English White. The project stalled and the Sprite was sold to the third and current owner who completed the restoration.

The original engine was rebuilt with new pistons, valves etc., hardened valve seats, new clutch and exhaust system, front disc brakes, carbs rebuilt, new rear springs, wire wheels and new tires were installed.

Seats redone with new carpets were added. Tonneau cover, side curtains, serviceable top, car cover and jack are included.

British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate is included, indicating the engine is correct. The car runs and drives very good with its smooth case gearbox. A notebook which contains pictures and invoices pertaining to the restoration goes with the car.
